Captain Cary and Crew Harrison, Ava, Ethan and Tara were good sports, weathering the rain during the Festival of the Fish Antique Wooden Boat Parade. The boat was the first and only entry of the parade due to poor weather conditions, according the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce.
The name of the boat, a Lyman 1967 26 foot sleeper, was “Pineapple Sun-Day” from Vermilion, Ohio.
The Festival of the Fish Antique Wooden Boat Parade took place on Saturday, June 15th. The annual event features beautiful nostalgic wooden boats. It is free and prizes are usually awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The crew won a $150 gift certificate from Quaker Steak and Lube and the official 2019 Festival of the Fish medal.
